Outdoors around Ephraim

Eagle Harbor paddling, waterfront walks and Peninsula State Park across the bay.

A sheltered bay

Ephraim faces Eagle Harbor, one of the more protected stretches of Green Bay. That makes it a good place for a first paddle or a calm swim, with the added advantage that Peninsula State Park's trails and beach are a short drive around the harbour.

Where to go

Paddling and swimming

Eagle Harbor

Sheltered water with multiple public access points. Morning is usually calmest; watch for boat traffic near the docks.

Across the harbour

Peninsula State Park

The county's largest state park, with 3,776 acres, trails, Nicolet Beach and Eagle Bluff Lighthouse. It is a short drive from the village.

On foot

Village walks

The lanes and shoreline paths make an easy hour's walk. The historical foundation's guided tours add the architecture and settlement story.
